Mission Statement

Our club’s purpose is to promote and enjoy the sport of Model Aircraft Building and Flying in the State of New Jersey. As a consequence of this activity, the Washington’s Crossing RC Flyers Association explores and attempts to further the various technologies involving all disciplines of Aero Modeling. Our goal is to expand the knowledge and experience level of all of our members through active and productive flying sessions, informative and enjoyable meetings and worth while events, projects and field trips. The club seeks to provide a safe and friendly flying environment for all its members and guests. In addition, we provide a non-threatening forum for the exchange of ideas and concepts at both the field and business meetings. Today’s youth are of particular importance to WCRC. By seeking out and encouraging pre-teens and adolescents, we hope to inspire fascination in an endeavor that teaches a wide variety of technical and life skills. In so doing, our club members hope to further the understanding, appreciation and love of aeronautics for generations to come.

Trouble figuring out how to dispose of those old rechargeable batteries including  LiPo's?  Recycle them!  It's better than beating them with a shovel.

Click to go to call to recycle
You can find a recycle bin at local Lowe's Stores or use the  Drop Off site locater on the call 2 recycle website.  Don't forget to carefully discharge the packs first and reuse that Deans connector!  Thanks to Dave for the suggestion.
